How It Works – RCLS

There are currently five mailing lists to choose from (Reagents, Marketplace, Career Building, Housing, and Community). Additional list suggestions can be made to the RCLS Administrator at opa@mskcc.org
By default all SKI Postdoctoral Researchers, Senior Research Scientists, GSK Students and Memorial Hospital Research Fellows are included in all categories and mailing lists.
On the "My Account" page, you may subscribe or unsubscribe to any category available to you by checking or unchecking the boxes on the left to the categories.
To post a message to RCLS, click the "New Post" tab.
Select the category of your message under the "Category" drop-down menu.
Compose your message, just like you would in Outlook, or MSK Webmail.
When you are done composing, use the "Preview" button to check the message before sending.
When you are happy with the message, click the "Submit New Post" button.
Each member subscribed to that category will receive your message by email. Each recipient will see only his or her name and address, and no other recipients.

Depending on the category list you are using, the return address will either be yours or, in the case of newsletter-type lists, a dedicated address for responses to that list.

Mail received from the RCLS will have an embedded hyperlink at the end of the message which will allow users to unsubscribe to the list.

To re-subscribe to any category, log in and check the box next to that category under the "Subscriptions" tab.

NOTE: Posts about go fund me, selling gift cards or promoting services are not allowed and will be removed. If the person posting try posting similar posts more than once, they will be removed from the RCLS.
